October 18, 2008: Lansdowne, PA 19050 In Saturday's league game, the Interboro Buccaneers (Prospect Park, PA) football team smashed the host Penn Wood Patriots (Lansdowne, PA), by a score of 42-7.
The Buccaneers (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Salesianum (Wilmington, DE). The Sallies come into the non-league game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Salesianum overwhelmed Howard (Wilmington, DE), 31-26, in a non-league game.
The Patriots now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chichester for a Delaware Valley game on Saturday, October 25. Penn Wood will battle a Eagles team coming off a 42-6 league loss to Academy Park (Sharon Hill, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-8.
