Texas High School Basketball - Northwest tipped by Carroll

January 24, 2012: Southlake, TX 76092

In Tuesday's league match, the host Carroll Dragons basketball team scored a tight 42-37 triumph over the Northwest Texans.

In their next game, the Dragons confront the Coppell Cowboys (Coppell, TX) in a 5A Region I District 7 match, on Friday, January 27. Carroll will attempt to better on its 14-13 season record. The Cowboys enter the match with a 17-8 record after their 53-41 league loss to Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX).

With the defeat, Northwest falls to 19-8 on the campaign. The Texans travel to Keller (Keller, TX) to play the Indians in a 5A Region I District 7 challenge on Friday, January 27. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 14-8. Keller won 57-27 in their recent league challenge against Saginaw (Saginaw, TX)
