The Watertown-Mayer Royals basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Norwood-Young America Raiders to 46 in the Royals league triumph on Friday.

The Royals now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Breck for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 3.

The Raiders (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Sibley East (Arlington, MN). The Wolverines enter the Minnesota River contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Sibley East was routed by Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, MN), 53-51, in a league contest.
