Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Rochester overwhelmed by New Brighton

The New Brighton Lions basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the visiting Rochester Rams to 52 in the Lions non-league victory on Monday.

The Lions now sport a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Western Beaver for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 12. New Brighton will meet a Golden Beavers team coming off a 58-39 non-league loss to Riverside (Ellwood City, PA). The Golden Beavers record now stands at 1-2.

The Rams (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Quigley Catholic (Baden, PA). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Quigley Catholic trounced Trinity Christian (Pittsburgh, PA), 67-47, in a non-league contest.
