Georgia High School Football - Burke Academy knocked off by Westfield
September 3, 2010: Perry, GA 31069 Westfield Hornets (Perry, GA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Burke Academy Spartans (Waynesboro, GA), 17-8 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Westfield improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Trinity Christian (Dublin, GA) to confront the Crusaders in a GISA 1AAA test on Friday, September 10. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 1-0.
With the loss, Burke Academy drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host Jefferson Academy (Louisville, GA) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league test on Friday, September 10. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 0-0.
