Sanger Apaches (Sanger, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Reedley Pirates (Reedley, CA), 40-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Sanger upgrades its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Apaches travel to Dinuba (Dinuba, CA) to play the Emperors in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 11. The Emperors come into the bout with a record of 1-2. Dinuba lost 60-36 in their recent non-league bout against San Joaquin Memorial (Fresno, CA)

Next up, the Pirates play the Parlier Panthers (Parlier, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 11. Reedley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 46-25 non-league win over Mt. Whitney (Visalia, CA).
