North Carolina High School Baseball - Creswell wallops Cape Hatteras
April 5, 2011: Creswell, NC 27928 Creswell Tigers (Creswell, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Cape Hatteras Hurricanes (Buxton, NC), 14-0 in a league test.
With the win, Creswell upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Mattamuskeet (Swan Quarter, NC) to battle the Lakers in a 1A Conference 1 test on Thursday, April 7. The Lakers come into the test with a record of 4-6. Mattamuskeet won 15-3 in their recent league game against Columbia (Columbia, NC)
The Hurricanes (0-6) will now prepare for their game against Columbia (Columbia, NC). The Wildcats go into the 1A Conference 1 game with a 1-8 record. In their last game, Columbia was overwhelmed by Mattamuskeet (Swan Quarter, NC), 15-3, in a league game.
