California High School Basketball - Vanden overwhelms Wood

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Vanden Vikings (Fairfield, CA) and the host Wood Wildcats (Vacaville, CA), saw Vanden's basketball squad wallop Wood by a tally of 67-44.

With the victory, Vanden improves its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Inderkum (Sacramento, CA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 10. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 8-9. Inderkum won 60-38 in their recent league challenge against Woodland (Woodland, CA)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Benicia Panthers (Benicia, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 13. Wood will attempt to improve on its 4-12 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 69-64 non-league loss to Rodriguez (Fairfield, CA).
