Oregon High School Baseball - Rogue River loses to Cascade Christian
April 20, 2012: Medford, OR 97504 The Cascade Christian Challengers baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Rogue River Chieftains to 1 in the Challengers league victory on Friday.
The Challengers (11-5) will now prepare for their match against Lakeview (Lakeview, OR). The Honkers go into the 3A Southern Cascade match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Lakeview ran past St. Mary's (Medford, OR), 7-4, in a league match.
The Chieftains (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Illinois Valley (Cave Junction, OR). The Cougars come into the 3A Southern Cascade challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Illinois Valley beat St. Mary's (Medford, OR), 5-2, in a league challenge.
Game Summary
First game of twi-night twinbill saw CC gain an early lead ooon three BBs and a RR error. Cody Coggins was 2 for 3 with a double and 2 RBIs. Daniel Scottow was 2 for 2 /2 runs scored and an RBI. Isaiah Luzny and Luke Dusenbury split the five inning game 3/2 by pitching 4 hit ball and only allowing 2 BBs.
