The Daniel Lions (Central, SC) football edged the host Wren Hurricanes (Piedmont, SC), 14-10 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Lions face the Belton-Honea Path Bears (Honea Path, SC) in a AAA Region I bout, on Friday, October 5. Daniel will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Bears enter the bout with a 5-1 record after their 51-7 league win over West-Oak (Westminster, SC).
