Match Summary
Wolves displayed their potential in tonight's close, fast-paced, exciting match vs. Tumwater. Down because of a couple disappointing losses, the Wolves rallied against the 'Birds, and kept it close through three games. Dropping sets 1 and 2 after leading both 24-23, did not affect the team, as they rallied to win set 3, 25-23. A very uninspired performance in set 4 ended the match, but the Wolf Pack can come away encouraged about their chances to grab one of the three State berths at next week's District 2A tournament, played on their home court. Hope Mortensen lead the attack with 16 kills, many of them coming from terminating blocks, followed by the balanced attack of Kendra Henry with 8, and Kayla Langu and Madi Sayler with 7 a piece. Marney Wilson was perfect from the service line, with 18/18, and Jensyn McCoy added 3 service aces to Kendra Henry and Hope Mortensen's 2. Brittney Lazaro racked up 23 assists from 93 attempts.
