Georgia High School Football - Heard County gets by Lamar County
October 23, 2009: Barnesville, GA 30204 The Heard County Braves football squad scored 18 points and limited the host Lamar County Trojans to 17 in the Braves league win on Friday.
The Braves now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Callaway for a 5-AA battle on Friday, October 30. Heard County will play a Cavaliers squad coming off a 69-7 league win over Crawford County (Roberta, GA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 6-2.
Coming up next, the Trojans play the Pike County Pirates (Zebulon, GA) in a 5-AA battle, on Friday, October 30. Lamar County will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Pirates go into the battle with a 3-5 record after their 32-28 league loss to Jordan (Columbus, GA).
