January 3, 2012: Palatine, IL 60074 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Buffalo Grove Bison (Buffalo Grove, IL) and the host Palatine Pirates (Palatine, IL), saw Buffalo Grove's basketball squad hold off Palatine by a score of 33-27.
With the victory, Buffalo Grove improves its record to 4-11 on the campaign. The Bison travel to Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL) to battle the Knights in a Mid-Suburban - East challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 10-8. Prospect lost 60-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Fremd (Palatine, IL)
Next up, the Pirates battle the Resurrection Bandits (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Palatine will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Bandits come into the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 46-43 league win over Regina Dominican (Wilmette, IL).
