Kentucky High School Basketball - Taylor County can't hold off St. John's
December 23, 2014: Campbellsville, KY 42718 The St. John's Cadets basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Taylor County Cardinals to 56 in the Cadets non-league win on Tuesday.
With the win, St. John's upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Cadets host Oxford (Oxford, MS) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Sunday, December 28. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 11-0. Oxford won 80-42 in their recent non-league bout against Lafayette (Oxford, MS)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Pope John XXIII (Sparta, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 27. Taylor County will attempt to upgrade on its 8-1 season record. The go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 68-63 non-league win over Life Center Academy (Burlington, NJ).
