Fans at Friday's league challenge between the The Colony Cougars (The Colony, TX) and the host Denton Broncos (Denton, TX), saw The Colony's basketball squad knock off Denton by a score of 76-61.

With the victory, The Colony improves its record to 22-3 on the campaign. The Cougars host Wichita Falls (Wichita Falls, TX) to battle the Coyotes in a 4A Region I District 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a record of 3-9. Wichita Falls won 57-54 in their recent league challenge against Rider (Wichita Falls, TX)

The Broncos now own a 10-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wichita Falls for a 4A Region I District 4 test on Friday, January 20.
