September 20, 2013: Kingston, TN 37763 The Alcoa Tornadoes football squad scored 70 points and restricted the host Roane County Yellowjackets to 13 in the Tornadoes league victory on Friday.
The Tornadoes now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heritage for a non-league battle on Friday, September 27. Alcoa will play a Mountaineers squad coming off a 24-0 league loss to William Blount (Maryville, TN). The Mountaineers record now stands at 1-3.
Coming up next, the Yellowjackets play the Lenoir City Panthers (Lenoir City, TN) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 26. Roane County will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record.
