Burlington Red Devils (Burlington, MA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Belmont Marauders (Belmont, MA), 63-54 in a league game.

In their next game, the Red Devils face the Woburn Memorial Tanners (Woburn, MA) in a Middlesex game, on Tuesday, February 8. Burlington will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record. The Tanners enter the game with a 9-6 record after their 56-49 league win over Watertown (Watertown, MA).

With the defeat, Belmont moves to 2-11 on the year. The Marauders travel to Reading Memorial (Reading, MA) to clash with the Rockets in a Middlesex test on Tuesday, February 8. The Rockets go into the test with a record of 4-8. Reading Memorial lost 73-64 in their recent league test against Lexington (Lexington, MA)
