The South Mountain Jaguars baseball team (Phoenix, AZ), was overwhelmed 11-1 in Tuesday's league outing with the host Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ)

The Sabercats now hold a 13-3 record. They play next when they travel to Notre Dame Prep for a II Section IV test on Thursday, March 27. Saguaro will battle a Saints squad coming off a 13-8 league loss to Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ). The Saints record now stands at 5-8.

With the defeat, South Mountain falls to 0-5 on the season. The Jaguars host Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ) to battle the Padres in a II Section IV test on Thursday, March 27. The Padres come into the test with a record of 7-8. Marcos de Niza lost 4-3 in their recent league test against McClintock (Tempe, AZ)
