Texas High School Basketball - Trent Internationale holds off Bellaire
January 4, 2014: Bellaire, TX 77401 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Trent Internationale (Sugar Land, TX) and the host Bellaire Cardinals (Bellaire, TX), saw Trent Internationale's basketball squad hold off Bellaire by a tally of 55-53.
With the victory, Trent Internationale improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The travel to Anchorage Christian (Anchorage, AK) to confront the Lions in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 16. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 7-1.
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Chavez Lobos (Houston, TX) in a 5A Region III District 20 challenge, on Monday, January 6. Bellaire will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Lobos come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 67-60 non-league win over Sharpstown (Houston, TX).
