Washington High School Basketball - Kamiakin overwhelms Sunnyside
December 13, 2014: Sunnyside, WA 98944 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Kamiakin Braves (Kennewick, WA) and the host Sunnyside Grizzlies (Sunnyside, WA), saw Kamiakin's basketball squad wallop Sunnyside by a count of 58-36.
With the victory, Kamiakin upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Braves host Eastmont (East Wenatchee, WA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 16. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Eastmont lost 93-64 in their recent league challenge against Davis (Yakima, WA)
Next up, the Grizzlies play the Eisenhower Cadets (Yakima, WA) in a 3A/4A Big Nine challenge, on Tuesday, December 16. Sunnyside will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Cadets come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 72-44 league win over West Valley (Yakima, WA).
