In Saturday's non-league outing, the Hoosac Owls (Hoosick, NY) basketball squad knocked off the host Chase Collegiate Highlanders (Waterbury, CT), by a margin of 69-56.

The Owls (3-4) will now prepare for their outing against Mountainside Christian Academy (Schroon Lake, NY). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Mountainside Christian Academy topped New Life Christian (Olean, NY), 53-41, in a non-league outing.

The Highlanders now own a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they host South Kent School for a Housatonic Valley outing on Wednesday, February 8. Chase Collegiate will clash with a Mighty Cardinal squad coming off a 62-52 non-league win over Nia Prep (Newark, NJ). The Mighty Cardinal record now stands at 9-3.
