New Jersey High School Baseball - Union loses to Cranford
April 24, 2012: Union, NJ 07083 The Cranford Cougars crushed the host Union Farmers baseball team by a count of 9-2 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Johnson for a non-league bout on Thursday, April 26. Cranford will face a Crusaders team coming off a 16-2 non-league loss to Scotch Plains-Fanwood (Scotch Plains, NJ). The Crusaders record now stands at 5-2.
Next up, the Farmers clash with the Elizabeth Minutemen (Elizabeth, NJ) in a Union County - Watchung game, on Friday, April 27. Union will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Minutemen go into the game with a 5-6 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Clifton (Clifton, NJ).
