In Thursday's league match, the host Block Bears football squad scored a good 26-8 victory over the Montgomery Tigers.

In their next game, the Bears clash with the LaSalle Tigers (Olla, LA) in a 1A District 3 match, on Thursday, November 7. Block will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 8-1 record after their 42-28 league loss to St. Mary (Natchitoches, LA).

The Tigers (6-3) will now prepare for their match against Logansport (Logansport, LA). The Tigers enter the 1A District 3 match with a 2-7 record. In their last match, Logansport ran past Northwood (Lena, LA), 26-8, in a league match.
