California High School Baseball - Lincoln loses to Sutter
May 2, 2012: Lincoln, CA 95648 The Sutter Huskies baseball team scored 19 runs and limited the host Lincoln Fighting Zebras to 3 in the Huskies non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Huskies (20-3) will now prepare for their match against Union Mine (El Dorado, CA). The Diamondbacks go into the non-league match with a 5-7 record. In their last match, Union Mine was overwhelmed by Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA), 3-0, in a league match.
The Fighting Zebras (4-6) will now prepare for their match against Placer (Auburn, CA). The Hillmen go into the non-league challenge with a 9-4 record.
Game Summary
Brayden Hungrige and Seth Landers were both 2 for 3 in the nonleague rout for the Huskies on the road.
Alex Huffman and Michael Renfree both doubled and Trenton McDaniel knocked in three runs for Sutter (20-3).
