The Edison Tigers (Fresno, CA) basketball knocked off the host Newark Memorial Cougars (Newark, CA), 48-39 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Canyon Springs (North Las Vegas, NV). The Pioneers go into the non-league test with a 3-0 record.

The Cougars now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to JW North for a non-league test on Friday, December 19. Newark Memorial will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 84-53 non-league win over Valley View (Moreno Valley, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 4-0.
