California High School Soccer - St. Bernard overwhelmed by St. Paul
February 2, 2010: Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670 The crowd at Tuesday's league outing between the St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA) and the visiting St. Bernard Vikings (Playa del Rey, CA), saw St. Paul's soccer squad triumph over St. Bernard by a margin of 8-1.
The Swordsmen now hold a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cantwell-Sacred Heart for a Camino Real test on Thursday, February 4. St. Paul will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-8.
The Vikings (0-7) will now prepare for their test against Serra (Gardena, CA). The Cavaliers enter the Camino Real test with a 0-8 record. In their last test, Serra was crushed by St. Monica (Santa Monica, CA), 5-0, in a league test.
