The Mt. Baker Mountaineers topped the visiting Sedro-Woolley Cubs volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Mountaineers now have a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Anacortes for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Thursday, October 22. Mt. Baker will confront a Seahawks team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Meridian (Bellingham, WA). The Seahawks record now stands at 8-3.

The Cubs (1-9) will now prepare for their test against Blaine (Blaine, WA). The Borderites enter the 1A/2A/3A Northwest test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Blaine gained a win over Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
