Olathe Pirates (Olathe, CO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Cedaredge Bruins (Cedaredge, CO), 56-25 in a league bout.

With the win, Olathe upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Pirates host Roaring Fork (Carbondale, CO) to play the Rams in a 3A Western Slope bout on Saturday, February 7. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 0-9.

Next up, the Bruins play the Hotchkiss Bulldogs (Hotchkiss, CO) in a 3A Western Slope bout, on Tuesday, February 3. Cedaredge will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 69-41 league win over Roaring Fork (Carbondale, CO).
