January 24, 2012: Oakland, CA 94608 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the California School for the Deaf Eagles (Fremont, CA) and the host Oakland Military Institute Grizzlies (Oakland, CA), saw California School for the Deaf's basketball squad trounce Oakland Military Institute by a score of 71-44.
With the victory, California School for the Deaf improves its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind (Tucson, AZ) to battle the Sentinels in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Sentinels come into the challenge with a record of 7-9. Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind lost 72-19 in their recent league challenge against St. Gregory College Prep (Tucson, AZ)
Next up, the Grizzlies clash with the Emery Spartans (Emeryville, CA) in a Bay Counties - General test, on Thursday, January 26. Oakland Military Institute will attempt to advance on its 13-7 season record. The Spartans go into the test with a 3-9 record after their 49-48 league win over Chinese Christian (San Leandro, CA).
