September 2, 2005: Dubuque, IA 52001 Linn-Mar Lions (Marion, IA) fans were pleased Friday as they witnessed their football team notch a victory over the host Dubuque Rams (Dubuque, IA), 41-20 in a league game.
The Lions now own a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Xavier for a Mississippi Valley- Mississippi game on Friday, September 9. Linn-Mar will meet a Saints team coming off a 16-13 non-league loss to Kennedy (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Saints record now stands at 0-1.
