Florida High School Basketball - Lennard fells Robinson

December 18, 2009: Ruskin, FL

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lennard Longhorns (Ruskin, FL) and the visiting Robinson Knights (Tampa, FL), saw Lennard's basketball squad overcome Robinson by a count of 68-50.

With the victory, Lennard upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Steinbrenner (Lutz, FL) to play the Warriors in a 4A District 9 challenge on Tuesday, January 5. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 1-8. Steinbrenner lost 58-37 in their recent league challenge against Strawberry Crest (Dover, FL)

Next up, the Knights play the Blake Yellowjackets (Tampa, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 21. Robinson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 71-47 non-league win over Alonso (Tampa, FL).
