California High School Football - Leuzinger smashes Hawthorne
October 3, 2014: Hawthorne, CA 90250 The Leuzinger Olympians (Lawndale, CA) football routed the host Hawthorne Cougars (Hawthorne, CA), 40-7 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Olympians face the West Warriors (Torrance, CA) in a Pioneer bout, on Friday, October 10. Leuzinger will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 5-0 record after their 40-19 non-league win over Carson (Carson, CA).
The Cougars (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA). The Vikings enter the Ocean bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, Santa Monica walloped Pomona (Pomona, CA), 10-8, in a non-league bout.
