The Rockcastle County Rockets (Mt. Vernon, KY) basketball felled the visiting North Laurel Jaguars (London, KY), 75-61 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Rockets (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Somerset (Somerset, KY). The Briar Jumpers go into the District 47 test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Somerset went down by Casey County (Liberty, KY), 155-127, in a league test.

The Jaguars now own a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lynn Camp for a non-league test on Thursday, December 16. North Laurel will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 57-54 non-league win over Raceland (Raceland, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-1.
