January 9, 2015: Richmond, IL 60071 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Richmond-Burton Rockets (Richmond, IL) and the visiting Woodstock Blue Streaks (Woodstock, IL), saw Richmond-Burton's basketball squad overcome Woodstock by a tally of 67-57.
With the victory, Richmond-Burton improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL) to play the Vikings in a Big Northern - Red challenge on Tuesday, January 13. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 4-9.
Next up, the Blue Streaks play the Prairie Ridge Wolves (Crystal Lake, IL) in a Fox Valley - Fox challenge, on Sunday, January 18. Woodstock will attempt to improve on its 9-4 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 54-32 league win over Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL).
