Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA), 64-34 in a league bout.

With the victory, Marion Center moves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Stingers host DuBois (DuBois, PA) to face the Beavers in a non-league game on Monday, December 16. The Beavers enter the game with a record of 2-1. DuBois won 49-42 in their recent non-league game against Central Mountain (Mill Hall, PA)

With the defeat, Homer-Center moves to 1-1 on the year. The Wildcats host Penns Manor (Clymer, PA) to face the Comets in a Heritage game on Monday, December 16. The Comets enter the game with a record of 1-3. Penns Manor won 40-29 in their recent league game against Purchase Line (Commodore, PA)
