In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Mercy Crusaders basketball team scored a tight 45-40 triumph over the Harker Eagles.

In their next game, the Crusaders confront the Castilleja Gators (Palo Alto, CA) in a West Bay - Skyline match, on Friday, January 13. Mercy will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record. The Gators enter the match with a 5-6 record after their 56-50 non-league loss to Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA).
