Runnels Raiders (Baton Rouge, LA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Loranger Wolves (Loranger, LA), 65-61 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Runnels upgrades its record to 6-11 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Holden (Holden, LA) to play the Rockets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 20. The Rockets come into the bout with a record of 11-16.

Next up, the Wolves play the Albany Hornets (Albany, LA) in a 3A District 10 bout, on Friday, January 23. Loranger will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
