The Houston Hilltoppers football squad scored 17 points and restricted the visiting Ackerman Indians to 13 in the Hilltoppers non-league victory on Friday.

The Hilltoppers now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hamilton for a non-league battle on Friday, September 14. Houston will play a Lions squad coming off a 52-8 non-league win over Hatley (Amory, MS). The Lions record now stands at 2-2.

Coming up next, the Indians play the Bruce Trojans (Bruce, MS) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 14. Ackerman will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 3-1 record after their 17-16 non-league loss to Water Valley (Water Valley, MS).
