The Taft Tigers basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Colton Vikings to 29 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scappoose for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. Taft will meet a Indians team coming off a 49-47 non-league win over Henley (Klamath Falls, OR). The Indians record now stands at 4-5.
