Arizona High School Football - Valley Vista drops to Mountain Ridge

In Friday's league game, the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ) football team knocked off the host Valley Vista Monsoon (Surprise, AZ), by a final score of 49-23.

The Mountain Lions (7-2) will now prepare for their game against Goldwater (Phoenix, AZ). The Bulldogs come into the 5A Northwest game with a 1-8 record. In their last game, Goldwater was dropped by Deer Valley (Glendale, AZ), 56-19, in a league game.

The Monsoon now hold a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to O'Connor for a 5A Northwest game on Friday, November 5. Valley Vista will battle a Eagles team coming off a 49-20 league win over Kingman (Kingman, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 9-0.
