California High School Basketball - St. Mary's overwhelms Holy Names
February 1, 2012: Albany, CA 94706 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the St. Mary's Panthers (Albany, CA) and the visiting Holy Names Monarchs (Oakland, CA), saw St. Mary's's basketball squad trounce Holy Names by a score of 77-13.
With the victory, St. Mary's improves its record to 16-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Swett (Crockett, CA) to battle the Indians in a Bay Shore challenge on Friday, February 3. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 2-8. Swett lost 61-34 in their recent league challenge against Albany (Albany, CA)
Next up, the Monarchs battle the St. Joseph Notre Dame Pilots (Alameda, CA) in a Bay Shore challenge, on Friday, February 3. Holy Names will attempt to improve on its 0-15 season record. The Pilots come into the challenge with a 15-7 record after their 58-55 league loss to Piedmont (Piedmont, CA).
