October 18, 2008: River Ridge, LA 70123 The Curtis Patriots held off the visiting Delcambre Panthers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Patriots now have a 18-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. James for a IV District 4 test on Tuesday, October 21. Curtis will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Franklin (Franklin, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-1.
The Panthers (14-11) will now prepare for their test against Hamilton Christian (Lake Charles, LA). The Warriors enter the non-league test with a 0-13 record. In their last test, Hamilton Christian was nudged by Houma Christian (Houma, LA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
