Arizona High School Volleyball - Mountain Ridge over Desert Mountain

In Thursday's non-league contest, the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ) volleyball squad knocked off the host Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Mountain Lions battle the St. Mary's Knights (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, November 6. Mountain Ridge will attempt to better on its 11-11 season record. The Knights come into the contest with a 3-16 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ).

With the loss, Desert Mountain drops to 12-10 on the campaign. The Wolves host Xavier College Prep (Phoenix, AZ) to battle the Gators in a 5A Desert Valley contest on Thursday, November 6. The Gators come into the contest with a record of 31-3. Xavier College Prep won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ)
