Ohio High School Football - Canisius nips Walsh Jesuit
September 22, 2012: Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44224 In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Canisius Crusaders football squad scored a close 14-7 victory over the Walsh Jesuit Warriors.
In their next game, the Crusaders clash with the St. Francis Red Raiders (Athol Springs, NY) in a Monsignor Martin match, on Saturday, September 29. Canisius will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Red Raiders enter the match with a 0-4 record after their 69-0 non-league loss to Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA).
The Warriors (0-4) will now prepare for their match against Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH). The Bruins enter the North Coast - Blue match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Padua Franciscan was nudged by Holy Name (Parma Heights, OH), 43-42, in a non-league match.
