Iowa High School Basketball - Lisbon overwhelmed by North Linn
January 7, 2012: Troy Mills, IA 52344 The North Linn Lynx basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Lisbon Lions to 38 in the Lynx non-league victory on Saturday.
The Lynx now sport a 12-1 record. They play next when they host Cascade for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10. North Linn will meet a Cougars team coming off a 41-32 non-league win over Beckman (Dyersville, IA). The Cougars record now stands at 9-2.
The Lions (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Camanche (Camanche, IA). The Indians come into the Big East contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Camanche was routed by Prince of Peace Prep (Clinton, IA), 47-39, in a league contest.
