Illinois High School Volleyball - Sandburg over Lake Forest
September 4, 2009: Orland Park, IL 60462 Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Eagles battle the Stagg Chargers (Palos Hills, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban match, on Tuesday, September 8. Sandburg will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record. The Chargers come into the match with a 0-1 record after their 2-1 league loss to Lockport (Lockport, IL).
With the loss, Lake Forest drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Scouts host Mundelein (Mundelein, IL) to battle the Mustangs in a North Suburban - Lake match on Friday, September 11. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 4-2.
