Curwensville Golden Tide (Curwensville, PA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Elk County Catholic Crusaders (St. Marys, PA), 67-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Curwensville upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Golden Tide travel to Glendale (Flinton, PA) to play the Vikings in a Moshannon Valley bout on Thursday, January 16. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Glendale lost 62-48 in their recent league bout against Claysburg-Kimmel (Claysburg, PA)

Next up, the Crusaders play the Brookville Raiders (Brookville, PA) in a District 9 bout, on Thursday, January 16. Elk County Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 49-48 non-league win over Kane (Kane, PA).
