In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Chaparral Firebirds (Scottsdale, AZ) baseball squad the visiting Basha Bears (Chandler, AZ), by a margin of 12-8.

With the win, Chaparral betters its record to 18-12 on the season. The Firebirds travel to Millennium (Goodyear, AZ) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 30.
