Nebraska High School Basketball - North Loup-Scotia can't hold off Nebraska Christian
January 28, 2010: Central City, NE 68826 The Nebraska Christian Eagles basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting North Loup-Scotia Wildcats to 50 in the Eagles non-league victory on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Cedar Rapids for a non-league contest on Friday, January 29. Nebraska Christian will meet a Tigers team coming off a 49-46 non-league loss to Humphrey (Humphrey, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 8-7.
The Wildcats (4-8) will now prepare for their match against Heartland Lutheran (Grand Island, NE). The Red Hornets enter the D2 District 4 match with a 12-3 record. In their last match, Heartland Lutheran nudged Greeley-Wolbach (Greeley, NE), 68-55, in a league match.
