Easton Warriors (Easton, MD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Friendly Patriots (Fort Washington, MD), 69-63 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Easton upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Warriors travel to Kent Island (Stevensville, MD) to play the Buccaneers in a Bayside - North bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 1-7.

Next up, the Patriots play the Crossland Cavaliers (Temple Hills, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A bout, on Friday, January 6. Friendly will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
